The Phonics Wheel

The Phonics Wheel is a fun activity to help students identify the beginning and ending letter sounds for a picture. Dozens are available on the EC website with a full subscription. Have a look!

Directions for Use:

Ask a student (or several) to name each letter on the wheel.
Student traces each letter.
Student traces a path from the picture to the beginning letter sound in blue.
Student traces a path from the picture to the ending letter sound in red.
Student colors the picture.
