Decorating our classroom each new school year is definitely an adventure! Using our valuable wall space or bulletin boards for "messages" is a great way to remind students not only about skills, but also about classroom rules, work ethics, and character traits.

Simple, colorful posters are decorative and helpful, but often these are very costly in the teaching stores. I started making my own posters with some colorful graphics and a few well-chosen words. After printing on card stock, I laminated the posters so that I could use them each school year.
